Colorado has become a Registered State for Massage Therapists (CMT becomes MT or RMT)
Effective July 1, 2009. Massage Therapist's are required to register with DORA (Dept of Regulatory Agencies).  The law is intended to benefit the community in three primary ways:
1) A minimum training requirement and scope of practice are defined.
2) An avenue for consumer complaint is established.
3) Massage Therapists would register with the state and no longer license in their city.
